Thank you for all who came out to the AGM on Thursday evening!

Approximately 70 members attended the AGM this year and we are glad to see members come out to participate.

Budget

Our 2026/27 Budget was approved that includes a membership fee increase due to increasing operational and insurance costs. Check out the Membership Information page for those new fees. 

Resolutions

A resolution was passed to increase the membership of the Club by 500 members to a total 3,500.

A special resolution was passed to amend the bylaws to allow for a new class of membership. The class of membership shall be NON-VOTING.

Election

The following member was re-elected into his position for another two years:

  • Ian Baird: Vice-President

The following members were elected into new positions:

  • Jack Marissen: Treasurer
  • Michael Allan: Membership
  • John Ginther: Secretary

These members were elected into 2-year Director positions:

  • Mark Ashcraft
  • Ken Cropley
  • Craig Erickson
  • Daryl Jantzen
  • Hermes Lee

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the four new Directors to our Board. Michael, John, Mark and Craig, we look forward to listening to your ideas on how to best represent the members of AFGC. Thank you for your commitment to volunteering at our Club!
