We had 11 members attend the Sept 12 Work Bee. It was a very wet but productive day. Dan cut down the vegetation on all the berms.  The members raked up dead plants from the berms on all the ranges. It was loaded up and removed to the bin. We filled a 14 yard bin. [...]

We know that sometimes it's frustrating to see ranges closed down for maintenance during the week, but we assure you it's necessary. We have added a new layer of engineered sand to Ranges 2 & 2B to help keep any ricochets to a minimum. The berms were quite packed from continued usage and we [...]

AFGC is looking for a relief Caretaker to fill in when Dan and Audrey go on holidays. This is a paid position and requires either one person or a couple to be available at various times throughout the year to fulfill the daily duties. Accommodations can be made to stay on site, if necessary. [...]

On July 1st we opened all the bays in the ranges and put out additional benches, mats and tables where required. 182 passes were used from June 28 to July 27. There were no major projects in July. Trying to salvage the lawn has been our main focus, as well as out regular routine. [...]
