Sunday, November 17 saw 10 shooters come out with a few first-timers. The day started out not looking very good as the trap machine was malfunctioning. Putting our heads together and with the help of google, we narrowed it down to the proximity switch being out of adjustment and we were back in business. In total 875 birds were thrown and a good time was had by everyone. This Sunday will be our first Turkey Shoot since pre-Covid and we are looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and hopefully some new ones.

Turkey Shoot

When: Sunday, Dec 15 (shooting will start at 10:00am)

Where: Range 2: Registration will be setup inside the Trap House, limited number of tables inside and on the gun rack, but also shooting benches available inside the range.

Cost: $5 per shoot with 7 shooters per squad.

January (weather depending) will see the start of next year’s 200 Bird Trophy. For anyone unaware, the 200 Bird Trophy is based on your best Sunday score over a period of 8 months. You can shoot as many rounds on a Sunday as you wish and your best score will count towards your total. If you miss a month, you can make that score up the following month by recording your best 2 scores.
