Happy 2019 AFGC!
2018 was an amazing year for AFGC. We completed a few more projects. Our facility has never looked so good. One of our largest projects was our new restroom facilities on range 4. This has been a long over due necessity. Already the outpouring of compliments have started. Members are already asking for another restroom facility that will cater to range 2 and archery. We’ll definitely have to take a look at this as a future project.
As we start our new year here at AFGC, lets continue to work together as a team and keep on building what we’ve started. As far as I’m concerned we have one of the best shooting facilities in the province. Let’s keep plugging ahead to keep it that way.
For all new and existing members. Make 2019 the year you get plugged into a sub club. This is how our club becomes even stronger.
Please keep up to date with our club calendar. Our next special event will be our Game Dinner and Dance Feb 9th. Contact Ian or myself for tickets, meat donations and door prizes. This is going to be one heck of a party.
Happy New Year & Shoot straight.

The new restrooms are very nice. Would it be possible to set up the RFID controlled access to allow junior members to unlock the door with their cards? I understand why they can’t access the range doors, but it would be nice if my teenager could go to the restroom by himself! 🙂
Hi Chris, thanks for your concern. Some of our Junior Members do not have RFID cards, as they most likely are using an older version of the card from before we had card access.
If your teenager would like to update his card to a new one, please send a request to membership@afgc.ca to have a new card made and ready for pickup.
Thanks!
