AFGC is looking for a few Member volunteers to represent the Club at the 2024 BC Sportsmen’s Show in Abbotsford from March 1-3, 2024. Everything will be organized for you, you just need to show up and help families have a good time. We’ll even provide you with some swag! Please read below for further details.
AFGC is looking to sponsor the “Kids Fishing Pond” at the 2024 BC Sportsmen’s Show. The “Kids Fishing Pond” has been a staple for the show for over 25+ years and a fun way for families to gain interest in the outdoors.
BC Sportsmen’s Show will supply:
- 12’x4’ fish pond with all the equipment
- Supply of 250 rainbow trout (throughout the w/e)
- Tables, chairs, backdrop curtains
- Fishing rods, and stools
- Name badges for all volunteers
- Provide space in the show to promote Abbotsford Fish & Game Club
AFGC is looking for:
- 3-4 volunteers per 3-4 hr shift/day (when fish tank is in operation)
(volunteers would operate the cash box, bait the hooks, release the fish when caught and general overview of the pond)
