The PPC Sub Club held its April monthly match on April 2nd with 11 shooters participating. This match was our revitalized Easter turkey shoot with a 60 round PPC course of fire followed by a 48 round duty pistol course, a one on one bonspiel style balloon match and an Oregon Walk Down match.

Everyone had a great time at this fun match with some good weather even though it was a little cool.

Our May match will have us returning to our CPCA registered competitions for the rest of the year except for December which will be our Christmas turkey shoot.

Some of our shooters are looking forward to a few major competitions this year which include the Canadian National PPC championships being held in Dryden Ontario, on the July long weekend, the Washington State PPC championships and the Northwest Regional Championships being held at the Hanford Nuclear Patrol training facility in Richland Washington the following weekend, the World Association 1500 PPC Championships in Switzerland and the Vancouver Island PPC championships in Victoria on Thanksgiving weekend.

Although our matches are CPCA registered/approved matches for shooters to submit their scores for classifications to CPCA and WA1500 shooters are also welcome to shoot our courses of fire for fun or practice alongside of the CPCA shooters.

Shooters from Abbotsford F&G, as well as those from other clubs are welcome to participate in our monthly matches.
