The PPC club held its final match of 2022 on Sunday December 4th for our annual Christmas Turkey fun match with 7 shooters present, despite the cold temperature and snowy road conditions.
This completes a very successful year for the sub club despite the challenges presented by the 2021 flood damage to the range. We thank the Port Coquitlam and District Hunting and Fishing club for making their range available to us for our monthly competitions to complete a full year of monthly matches.
The plan for our first Sunday of the month matches for the 2023 shooting year is to hold 10 CPCA approved matches which allow our shooters to have their scores submitted for classification with both CPCA and World Association 1500, while allowing those who just want to shoot along for the practice or just for fun.
The other two monthly matches will be reactivating our annual Easter fun match and continuing our annual Christmas turkey fun match.
Shooters from Abbotsford F&G, as well as those from other clubs are welcome to participate in our monthly matches.
