It’s hard to believe September is here already. This means kids are back in school and the parents are back to their fall routine. As usual we will likey see a spike in our sub club drop-ins. This is a time for us to shine and show off our club.
It is a welcome sight to see our new gates, it’s been a long time coming but now we need power. I was told our electrician has been notified, so I assume we are at their mercy.
The lights on the archery range have been installed finally, we may have to go up a size as they could be brighter. Also the trees to the right of the range (caretakers driveway) need to be trimmed back as the light is completely blocked, leaving that side of the range much darker.
We are looking for a member to takeover over-seeing our work bees. This is a very important role as we have members needing to work off their 8 hours. This person will work very close with our caretakers. If you are interested in this position, please contact me directly at president@afgc.ca.
Just a special reminder, there will be no meetings in October. Our next meeting will take place November 9th at 7:30pm.
