Attn Members:
Please be aware that violating the Range 5 Steel Rules will result in a loss of privileges for this range and possibly your membership.
Range rules are clearly posted on the range and have been put in place for everyone’s safety. We appreciate your patience as we put up new fencing around this range and add prox card access.
It has come to our attention that some members are moving the steel from their proper positions. This is a clear violation of the rules that have been set out. The photo below shows the proper setup for the steel and is to remain in this arrangement for all members.
Thank you for encouraging members to follow the rules. Overall I notice the range is kept clean and orderly by most members. I did pick up a lot of extra brass on Range 5 the first time I used it, suggesting people are not taking the time to get the brass from the gravel areas.
Thank you for your efforts!
Caretaker Dan mentioned to me that perforated plastic brass catching mats might be consider for Range 5. Seems to me an excellent option.
I followed two members to range 5 a couple of weeks ago. One cleaned up his brass, the other did not . I guess he figured that his mother would clean up for him. I did not notice a brass bin on range5, I dumped it at range 4.
