All the range 2 expansion items have been designed and in the process of finalize the cost.
For the permanent target stands we are waiting for the cost of the steel. The design will have 2 shooting stands for each of the 10 existing bays, one at 100 yard and one at 100 m, they will be staggered, so shooters can set up on both if they wants shoot at both at the same time.
The bridge access will be filled in and new one will be cut at a 45 degree angle towards range 3, to protect the bridge from been shot up.
Range 2 lighting – Got a site simulation and quote for high output LED lights to be mounted high up on poles to project all the way out to 100 m, the cost of running it will be about 18 cents an hour.
The shooting shed expansion we ran into a few snags, the city have change the zoning bylaw since our last expansion, a new zoning category was created which has different set of criteria than before, since we already have some encroachment issues in the past, we are being extra careful with how we approach the city. Rob and Claude is working closely with our Architect and the our city contacts on the issue.
We are looking at clearing out the settlement pond this year, hoping to do it at the same time as the new bridge access and the target stand pedestal installation, So Arlus can do all the civil work in one go.
