Hello all!

I want to start by giving a heartfelt Thank You to Jordan Miller for being able to keep the club running this last month while my day-job kept me away for the majority of July. I sincerely appreciate you stepping up and keeping everything moving forward flawlessly.

The most recent competition has just wrapped up at the Pit Meadows Gun Club where we had three shooters compete. Big congratulations to Allexy on participating in his first competition and bringing home the top score. It was a small field for his class, but just getting out there is a huge milestone. Our Mattius is starting to build out his award cabinet with a second place finish. Big round of applause for everyone who participated in the absolute monsoon that was the morning competition schedule!   

Reminders:

  • The only entrance to Range 1 is around the side across from the archery range. Look for the sign in the parking lot.
  • There will be no club running on any holiday Mondays
  • We welcome anyone interested in shooting, although we do ask that parents initially provide 1:1 supervision for anyone under 10 years old.
  • The mandatory safety briefing starts sharply at 7pm.
  • You do not require your PAL, as you can shoot under our supervision, so if you have friends interested in giving it a try, bring them along.
  • We provide everything including eye and ear protection for all participants.
  • Drop-in fees are changing!
    • CASH payments are $5 for AFGC Members and $10 for non-members.
    • CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD payments are $5.25 for members and $10.50 for non members to cover service fees.
