Hello all!

Jordan has once again been working hard to keep everything running flawlessly while my day job continued to interfere with my participation in the club. Once more, thank you so much for taking the reins!

I am very, very proud to announce that I had the pleasure of awarding the center core of our achievement patches to our youngest recipient yet, Lincon Gole! At 6 years old, Link has recorded 10 targets at a score of 60 or greater in the prone position. This is freehand with open sights on a target scaled for 50m. An impressive achievement for anyone, let alone someone of his age. I sincerely look forward to having Link join our competition crew at the earliest opportunity! Well done Link!

Reminders:

  • The only entrance to Range 1 is around the side across from the archery range. Look for the sign in the parking lot.
  • There will be no club running on any holiday Mondays
  • We welcome anyone interested in shooting, although we do ask that parents initially provide 1:1 supervision for anyone under 10 years old.
  • The mandatory safety briefing starts sharply at 7pm.
  • You do not require your PAL, as you can shoot under our supervision, so if you have friends interested in giving it a try, bring them along.
  • We provide everything including eye and ear protection for all participants.
  • Drop-in fees are changing!
    • CASH payments are $5 for AFGC Members and $10 for non-members.
    • CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD payments are $5.25 for members and $10.50 for non members to cover service fees.
