This is a letter I never thought I would have to write, but uncertain times bring with them new experiences. As a result of the new mandates from the Province of British Columbia, under the Public Health Act, we are closing Abbotsford Fish and Game Club until further notice. This closure applies to all members, sub clubs and private events, effective at midnight, Tuesday, March 17th. This closure does not apply to our Law Enforcement Agency rentals at this time.

I am very sorry to have to make this announcement, but we must do everything we can to be responsible during this crisis. Please follow all recommendations for washing your hands, practicing social distancing and sanitary measures.

Out of an abundance of caution, the AFGC Board has also decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting, currently Thursday, March 19. The AGM will now be held on Thursday, April 30. It is also possible that we may have to reschedule again, if that happens you will be notified as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact president@afgc.ca.

With regret,

Robert Engh
President AFGC
