Much thanks and appreciation goes out to our outgoing Directors who have put in countless hours of volunteer time.
The 2018-2019 Budget was approved as presented to the membership.
Here are a few things to note:
A workbee fee increase of $15 per membership was presented as part of the new budget and will be added to the upcoming renewals.
Also in the budget, a new post-secondary Scholarship Program has been added for children of members of the Club. This is a very exciting project that will show great benefits to our members and their families! More details will be available in the coming months.
Some other exciting projects that have been included in the budget are: lighting improvements on all ranges, driveway upgrades, additional permanent steel targets, paved pathways, heaters for all ranges, and upgraded washrooms for all members! As well as the Range 2 Expansion Project and Clubhouse Renovation are still in the works.
If you or your company are available to help with any of these upcoming projects, the BOD would love to hear from you, as we need more members stepping up to help with these projects.
A motion was put forward for an increase to the membership cap of 2,000 to a maximum of 2,500 memberships in 100 membership increments with a range usage assessment after each increment. There are currently over 700 people on our membership waitlist. This motion was defeated and the current cap will remain in place.
