September saw a new quarter final season for the Precision Rifle community. With the NRL22 season near its mid-term (Nov) & PRS Rimfire new season starting along with our Fall/Winter weather arriving, shooters have been very active traveling to get their scores in while the condition is favorable.

Our Sept 19th event saw 35 shooters, with many Notice class shooters advancing to Marksman class it has been a busy event.

Invited to all levels of Rimfire shooters, our Precision 22 event @ AFGC welcomes any 22LR rifles except rifles with a Tubular magazine as long as it is in safe operating manner!

Our usual event will include 5 stages of sanctioned NRL22 or PRS22 stages along with 5 creative skill building stages with unconventional props and targets.

Any AFGC member is welcome to come visit any of our events and we can also arrange a Range owned Precision rifle to try out if you don’t have anything.

If it is your first event attending, we can also help you partner up with a mentor to buddy up during an event.

Come meet all the friendly shooters who are absolutely willing to lend you any gear you may want to try before making a decision to buy.

Our next event is Nov 14th 2026:
