August marked our second year (since Aug 2024) organizing Precision 22 events with the sanctioned discipline of NRL22 or PRS Rimfire. Our last event saw 36 shooters on Aug 22nd.

It has been a huge success with great attendance and building a whole new strong community of positional shooting of Precision Rimfire in the Lower Mainland region. Our event attendance numbers have been consistent from 35 competitors minimum to 45 competitors maximum here at AFGC.

This has been one of the fastest growing target sports disciplines in North America, as the rimfire discipline requires only a minimum range of 100 yards to a maximum range of 350 yards which allow many events to happen and a lot less restriction for shooting ranges to run events.

All skill levels are welcome to join us, many experienced shooters are very willing to provide guidance and share equipment. All you need is a safe, and functioning 22LR except Lever Actions (unless it has a detachable magazine), even capable .177 / .22 calibre air guns are allowed as long as it meets the NRL / PRS regulations.

It is also a great venue for new shooters to meet new shooting companions and learn about your gear!
