The .22 Club would like to request budgetary funding for the purchase of four .22 caliber left landed target rifles for next year. These would be used by both right and left handed shooters, who have a dominant left eye. It appears from internet searches that we will have to buy the rifles, then have the target sights mounted on them. When the time comes, we would put out a RFQ for the four rifles complete to various Canadian dealers. I would like to request a budget of $3,000 for this acquisition.

Also, a reminder we have a lot of 22 long rifle available in Winchester available for sale, 222 and 555, etc. at $.05 per round, no tax – bring your PAL. The Winchester ammo do not agree with our target rifles, however they are no problem for many others. Canadian Tire price for a 555 is $39.99, or about $.08 per round, taxes included.

Another reminder – if you are coming out to shoot on a Monday evening, be sure to arrive before 7:00 PM. We cannot accommodate “drop-ins” that arrive after 7:00 PM.

We would like to thank Victor from Italian Sporting Goods for his great pricing on .22 ammo for the sub club. He also provided 100 targets at no cost. Remember to support his business as he supports our club.

Also, if we finish early, some members have brought their handguns to try out – not a problem, however be prepared to supply ammo for all that wish to shoot?. We encourage regular handgun shooters to join Bob’s Tuesday evening events.

This year we will be migrating to the NRA Shooting Programs. They have a lot more resources available that will support our 22 Sub Club. Myself, I used to be an NRA Certified Coach.
