.22 Club Report June 2017

Drop-in attendance continues to be strong. Members and non-members are welcome every Monday evening at 7. We have both regulars and lots of new faces coming by to give rifle shooting a try.

Our first 6 week Rifle Shooting class has 25 students signed up. One of our students, and one of our instructors are representing BC in the North American Indigenous Games in July. The current class continues through June. Our next will be in the fall.

Because of our classes, we are needing to build up some equipment. We now have a non-functional demonstration rifle (an old SKS stock, a dowel, and some screw eyes for sights), and some kneeling rolls. We are working on building some inexpensive offhand stands.  Our rifles are serving us very well, although we could use more left-handed actions.
