The Abbotsford Fish & Game Club is saddened to learn of the passing of Henry Jacobs, who passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, just days before his 95th birthday.

Henry was a dedicated member of the Abbotsford Fish & Game Club for many decades and was honoured as a Life Member in recognition of his longstanding commitment to the Club. He also served as Club President during the 1970s, helping guide the organization through an important period in its history. His leadership and dedication left a lasting impact that continues to be appreciated by generations of members.

Outside of the Club, Henry was known for his strong work ethic, his love of family, and his passion for the outdoors. Throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time in nature, values that have long been at the heart of the Abbotsford Fish & Game Club.

Henry’s legacy lives on through the many friendships he built, the time he volunteered, and the example he set for those who followed. We are grateful for his years of service and for the role he played in helping shape our Club.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and all members, we extend our sincere condolences to Henry’s family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Henry. Your contributions to the Abbotsford Fish & Game Club will not be forgotten.
