I’m reaching out as I’m currently looking for male and female hunters who may be interested in working as background performers on a TV series filming in Abbotsford this October.

No previous background acting experience is required. We are specifically looking for people with real-world hunting experience who would be comfortable appearing on camera and performing tasks such as to stretching and skinning hides. Must also be able to section up and cleave large carcases.

FILMING DETAILS

Potential Work Dates: October 5–9
There will likely be 2–3 filming days within this date range. Exact dates are still to be confirmed.

Location: 685 Lefeuvre Rd, Abbotsford, BC
Estimated Crew Call: 7:00 AM
Estimated Workday: Approximately 10–14 hours
Rate: $45.34/hour

Please note that filming days can be long, and exact start and finish times are generally not confirmed until closer to the work date.

HAIR & MAKEUP REQUIREMENTS

Male Performers

  • Hair will be shaved prior to filming.
  • Performers must be comfortable arriving clean-shaven.
  • Special-effects scar makeup (MUFX) will be applied to the cheeks.

Female Performers

  • Hair will be styled in braids.
  • Hair extensions may be added if required.
  • Special-effects scar makeup (MUFX) will be applied to the cheeks.

I have attached additional Hair & Makeup information that outlines the required look in more detail. Please review this carefully before submitting, as you must be comfortable with these requirements.
