Dear Members,

We would like to remind everyone to exercise extra caution when travelling to and from the Abbotsford Fish & Game Club via Lakemount Road.

Please remember that northbound traffic (travelling toward the club) is required to yield at the one-lane bridge to all traffic already on the bridge, including vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. After crossing the bridge, continue to drive cautiously and obey all posted traffic signs and speed limits.

Following last week’s incident involving a dog being struck in the area, we understand that police will be paying increased attention to traffic enforcement along this section of Lakemount Road.

We ask all members to do their part by driving safely, respecting the right-of-way, and remaining alert for pedestrians, cyclists, pets, and wildlife. A few extra moments of caution help keep everyone safe and reflect positively on our club.
