Multigun Report September 2022

August practice night was sold out and we had a lot of new people to the range with some very interesting choices of firearms. Never had a 44Mag lever gun used before, but dude could cycle that action really well! This months practice night is Monday, September 19th at 6pm on range 4 like usual. [...]

FVRRC September Update

August was a great month for us with healthy numbers at all events and incredible weather to boot. With such great weather we found many opportunities to break out the clay thrower which has been something that our membership has been asking for since the beginning of our club. This month, classes are now back [...]

IPSC Report August 2022

IPSC Practices Weekly practices on Thursday have been quite steady with the amount of people showing up. We are limiting it to 14 members. I have booked off Range 4 on Friday August 5th for IPSC as there were no objections made from the Board. This is to make up for the missed practice [...]

Steel Challenge Report August 2022

Turnout has been good, back to our old numbers again with lots of new faces coming out too. We did a new stage a couple weeks ago that was a lot of fun. One large rectangle plate at 7yds, with only 1 shot being fired, do that 5 times for the stage, then once [...]

Archery Report August 2022

July we hosted our first 3D Shoot since Covid. The shoot was a success. We had well 71 shooters on Saturday and 83 shooters on Sunday. The weather was awesome but the bugs on the hill were bad. Was strange not having a kitchen at the shoot. It was very much missed. A big [...]

Steel Challenge Report July 2022

Steel has been going great, we did our first longer distance stage of the year this past Tuesday. Utilizing range 3 we shot Outer Limits, the only SC stage with movement, and targets out to 105ft. Strangely we had a lower turnout that night, either the long weekend had people recuperating at home, or the [...]
