A good size group completed the IPSC TC last weekend. There were 6 shooters in the class using 2 CZ Shadows, 2 SW M&P, 1 Glock and 1 SW 5946, all in 9mm Luger. Yes, the SW is a prohib but Mounties can use them ;) Always a pleasure when our law enforcement members participate [...]
A great big thanks to Dave and Linda Dunn. Linda washed all of our shooting matts (they were beyond filthy) and Dave made some more prone wood supports. Also, a big thanks to Peter who ran things when I was off sick. We have purchased some Savage Rascal Target Rifles in left hand. These are [...]

It's been a very busy April thus far for the Sagittarius Archers. Wednesday drop in's have been incredible! We have been a full capacity each night. This past weekend marked our 16th Annual Chad Davis Memorial 3D Shoot. The event was an awesome success. This was our first year we offered camping. I was told we have to [...]
The 2nd CQB shoot of the year was well attended, with 36 shooters out. Fortunately, the weather cooperated- a perfect day for shooting; to bad my score didn’t reflect the excellent conditions. Tavor Course Update ATS will be hosting 2 Tavor courses this month, in lieu of the regular ATS day; 22-24 April, indoor and Range 2, and [...]
The fair weather shooters are starting to emerge from their burrows as summer looms closer and closer. The April monthly training/practice match was held on the first Sunday and the weather cooperated making it an enjoyable day putting some rounds down range to clean the cobwebs out of the barrels. The CPCA registered match scheduled [...]
I just wanted to advise that 828 Hurricane Squadron is now completed our 22 marksmanship program for this year. We managed to get to AFGC twice and the WOP with skiing 4 times this year estimated 25 shooters (some out for first time with 22) and total rounds 4000 spent. We will still have a [...]
Well our first match of the season went very smoothly once again. We had another sold out match of 40 shooters and a waitlist of approximately 6 shooters. Fun was had by all with some challenging and interesting stages using our new MGM Targets. The spinners seemed to be a crowd favourite. Our shoot off [...]
