First, thank you to everyone who helped at the Workbee Sept 30.  They built 500 backers, weeded and groomed the ranges. The Side-by-Side Ranger has arrived all shiny and new (for now). It has been a snowy, icy, cold and very windy last several weeks at AFGC with one storm after another hitting us. We have spent many hours plowing snow and shovelling walkways and have purchased a large snow blower (with board approval) which we had to order from eastern Canada. We have been busy with roundup, weedeating and lawnmowing getting ready for the winter. Also we picked up shotgun hulls from all ranges. With range 2 LED lights now working, the ranges have been very busy at all times of the day. With the increase in activity here at the range, we are weekly replacing shot up target [...]

The ranges have been extremely busy with all of the new members which have been recently signed up. We have found empty unshot beer cans on the ranges. To all members, just a friendly reminder that all lights, including the overhead lights, range lights, and red/green lights must be turned off when you leave the ranges if there is no one else present.
